Good Food, Good Friends, Good Times...

Catering is something we LOVE to do.  Today, we had the immense privilege of creating a Spanish Feast for a Baby Shower Fiesta like no other.

Our tapas menu consisted of:

Salted Mixed Nuts
Marinated Spanish Olives
Spanish Potato Omelet
Meatballs in Tomato Sauce
Chicken in White Wine and Brown Onion Sauce
Spanish Potato Salad
Sautéed Chorizo with Button Mushrooms
Lots of Crusty Bread

Whilst we prepped and served, our guests were free to enjoy the food and the company of friends and family.

Take a look for yourself…

Tinto de Verano

It's SUMMER TIME and what a better way to cool down than with a gorgeously refreshing drink.

This drink is a 'staple' in the hot Spanish summer so we just had to share it.  I hope you'll enjoy it as much as we do.

Ingredients
Red wine
Chilled carbonated lemonade or lemon squash
1 lemon sliced for garnish

Dash of rum (optional)

Method
Mix equal parts of red wine and carbonated lemonade.
Garnish with lemon slices.
Add a dash of rum if you're feeling fancy.

That's it you're done!
Enjoy with just about anything.

Mud Crabs

Moreton Bay Mud Crabs

Bounty from the Sea

Here are the mud crabs we caught (with the help of the men in our lives). Be sure to try the preparation method in our previous entry next time you get your hands on some of these wonderful and yummy creatures from our beautiful Moreton Bay. This is how they looked just before we devoured them :) :).

Seafood. . . much loved in our motherland Spain and much loved in our
homeland of Australia.
